This jacket takes a classic Type II trucker and hard‑edges it into something almost mechanical. Cut from raw, inky black denim, it sits square and rigid through the shoulders with a cropped hem that hits just at the top of the hip, so the body reads like a compact shell rather than a relaxed layer. Bright contrast topstitching tracks every seam—yoke, sleeves, pockets, hem—drawing out the pattern lines like a technical diagram on dark steel. The front closes with a run of metal shank buttons, then breaks at the waist into a split, zip‑out panel that lets you drop the length, flare the hem, or keep it clamped tight for a sharper profile.
